Equipment Standards
Primary Small Arm
- 10x 7mm High Pressure Caseless (HPC) Battle Rifles
- sound like modern rifles but make a much higher 'crack' due to specialized propellants.
- 2x 9.1mm HPC Carbines
- high caliber, longer range HPC based rifle.
- 1x 12.7mm Rail Assisted Long Rifle
- Hybrid rifle which uses caseless, high pressure rounds which are fired with propellant before being magnetically accelerated.
- requires heavy RTG packs for the rail-assist
- squad-mates typically carry extra battery packs.
- used for light armor or fortifications.
- mechanical "THUM" followed by a thunderclap. The rail-assist ionizes the air in the barrel, leaving a brief, glowing "tracer" of blue static that vanishes in a heartbeat.
